We are seeking an experienced project manager to serve as a true business partner in leading AI projects at DPDgroup IT Solutions Poland. This AI PM is a strategic partner to the Managing Director and AI Portfolio Manager, jointly shaping AI direction and priorities, having an influence across the organization. This role goes far beyond classic corporate PM work - it requires technical judgment, hands‑on involvement in solution shaping, and engineering-level decision-making.

Currently, we build and implement AI agents and data/ML solutions that support logistics operations, customer service, and process optimization.

 

Your main responsibility will be delivering AI projects end-to-end: from understanding the business problem and planning the solution, through leading the team (data/ML/engineering), to rollout and achieving measurable operational results within the Geopost organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • The PM leads architecture discussions, risk assessments, and Go/No-Go decisions -not just overall coordination
  • Leading projects related to AI agents (e.g., customer service, operations support, process automation) as well as data/ML initiatives in a logistics environment
  • Translating business needs (operations, sales, customer service, IT) into concrete roadmaps, requirements, and a product backlog
  • Defining goals, KPIs, and success metrics for AI solutions (e.g., reduction in handling time, improvement of delivery SLA, contact automation, operational savings)
  • Planning and coordinating the work of teams: automation engineers, software engineers, analysts, testers, and logistics domain experts
  • Managing the entire project lifecycle: discovery, PoC/MVP, pilot, scaling, maintenance, and continuous optimization
  • Managing risks in AI projects (data availability and quality, model complexity, integrations, business-side changes)
  • Structured communication with stakeholders: statuses, decisions, priorities, presenting results and recommendations at the business level
  • Co-creating standards for running AI/ML projects within the organization (processes, artifacts, best practices)
  • Close collaboration with logistics process owners in defining use cases, A/B tests, and rollouts

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager / Product Manager / Tech PM in IT; experience with AI, data, ML, or analytics projects is a plus
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills (Polish and English - working in an international Geopost environment)
  • Deep understanding of AI engineering, LLM architectures, agent frameworks, model evaluation, and system integrations (without needing to code)
  • Hands-on experience delivering projects end-to-end: from needs analysis, through delivery, to implementation and impact measurement
  • Ability to validate outputs from data scientists, ML engineers, and automation teams
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML engineering practices, model lifecycle, prompt engineering, agentic architectures, evaluation frameworks, and constraints of modern foundation models (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI).” You understand limitations, data dependencies, and the model lifecycle, and you are genuinely curious about the latest developments in AI, actively follow emerging trends, tools, and approaches, and continuously explore evolving market best practices to apply them pragmatically in real-world projects
  • Ability to work with technical teams (Data science, ML engineering, AI architecture, Software engineering) and ask the right technical questions, without the need to code independently
  • Knowledge of how LLMs are trained, fine-tuned, aligned, how agent frameworks operate, what model limitations are, and how orchestration frameworks work
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders, including C-level - gathering requirements, running workshops, managing expectations, prioritization
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Jira or similar) and experience working in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Advantage: experience in logistics, e-commerce, last-mile delivery, or related companies (e.g., parcel delivery, fulfillment)

 

*Nice to have

  • Experience working with AI agents (e.g., chatbots, voicebots, employee copilots, ticket automation)
  • Experience in international organizations or complex corporate structures
  • Familiarity with basic tools: ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk), analytics/BI tools, MLOps platforms - considered an advantage
