Senior QA Engineer

Working as Person holding this position will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand and refine business requirements from a testing perspective

  • Designing, documenting, and executing comprehensive test plans for E2E functional testing (multiproduct interfaces/flows), ensuring coverage of all critical business processes

  • Collaborating with the product team to ensure product features specifications are aligned with defined test use cases

  • Logging and tracking test results, bugs, and defects in Jira, ensuring clear communication of issues to development teams for a swift bug solving handling

  • Executing various type of test such as functional, regression, performance, security, scalability

  • Working closely with developers to understand technical specifications and align testing efforts with product development

  • Supervising the deployment and execution of automated tests in development and test environments, with the goal of achieving 100% coverage of C2X processes

  • Collaborating with other QA team members to share knowledge and improve testing methodologies

  • Providing detailed test reports to stakeholders

  • Updating user manuals

  • Punctually assisting roll-out manager/users in complex configuration/set up

Requirements

We expect you to have:

Strong understanding of end-to-end testing processes and the ability to apply this knowledge across complex and modular IT systems.

Proficient in English as our business and IT teams are scattered across the world, interactions and documentation will be in English

Experience in manual testing, with a strong focus on functional testing involving several products

Solid understanding of technical concepts such as APIs, interfaces, message integrations constraints to work autonomously in a complex multiinterface/ product environment

Knowledge of databases and the ability to understand complex data structures for validation purposes

Multi-projects handling / multi-tasking to deliver in a seamless manner our ambitious product roadmap

Mastering of tools like Jira for tracking issues and test management platforms for organizing and executing test cases (ieg Zephyr Scale – Test Management for Jira)

Ability to write clear documentation for test cases, results, and defect reports.

Solid experience in Agile methodologies and working in a sprint-based environment

Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders in a multi-product environment and multiple business and IT stakeholders
